Dean started Daybreak at Minsteracres in August 2002 at the age of 22. Dean lived at home with his Mum Sophie and his Dad John along with their two Yorkshire terriers Jess and Jed. Dean was not very confident having just left College but was looking forward to, although a little apprehensive of staring the next chapter in his adult life.

When Steven joined us at Daybreak he spent lots of time on his own and did not find it easy to engage in activities or socialise with other people. Using a person-centred approach, we looked at the support Steven wanted and needed.
