ACTIVITIES:
Our centre at the Ouseburn Valley in Newcastle is ideally placed to explore the many diverse, varied and lively facilities this historic area has to offer. Full advantage is taken of these opportunities during the planning and delivering of our service.
There is an active focus on cultural activities where our service users can engage in music, dance workshops and the performing arts. Our fully equipped I.T. suite provides multi-media training and the opportunity to gain administration and general office skills.
For those who enjoy accredited courses, we can offer a variety of educational opportunities in partnership with adult education providers. These courses take place at our centre and are supported by our skilled staff team.
From here our quarterly newsletter is produced by our service users, which provide an effective source of useful information for all at Daybreak, their families and carers.
